A look inside

Here is a spread from my book. And below is another.

From the 100 Activities Handbook section

The book is really taking shape now.  Should be done in three weeks!

Sarah, so glad I finally got here to see inside your book! It is LOVELY. See? All your hard work and showing up at the page, worked out. I can not wait until it is available for purchase.
    thanks for the preview 😉
    love and peace, sandi

It’s beautiful – a work of art in itself. I suspect many would enjoy the activities, not just those working with dementia patients

    • szoutewelle Says:

thanks Catherine, you are right, the book is by no means limited to the dementia field, though it is aimed at it. I think anyone wanting to do the projects could benefit from it, in or outside of healthcare settings.

I’m so happy for you that this project is coming together so beautifully. You must be feeling tired and exhilarated all at once as you approach the finish line. I look forward to purchasing a copy for my personal library someday soon.

Are the drawings of materials on the pages above your handy work? They’re lovely!

    • szoutewelle Says:

thanks, kay. Yes, tired and exhilarated is about it. The book gets sent off within the next few days so this is the most intense stage, letting it go into someone else’s hands, after having full control of every detail for about 9 months.
And it feels like a birth for sure.

Thanks for buying a copy, we should be getting it up on Amazon before too long.
And yes, all the drawings, with a few exceptions are all by me. The illustration and the writing were the most fun.

It has been a steep learning curve, so when you are ready to go into production with your book, don’t hesitate to ask anything you need to know.

Oh, how beautiful, Sarah! Exited to see the book after seeing it grow slowly over time… the baby steps worked.. what a beautiful birth to witness!
Much love and all the best

    • szoutewelle Says:

Claudia, thanks for your enthusiastic response! Hopefully the book will be available in just a few weeks now. And yes, the baby steps were defnintely the key to getting such a large project done. Though occasional leaps over chasms and off cliffs were also required 🙂
